Bike to the Future

Based mainly on the concept of alternative mobility, and focused on Belgium and the city of Ghent in particular, Bike to the Future showcases the future for two-wheeled mobility via the creativity of some of its greatest designers. A fascinating journey through highly innovative and high-tech prototypes that combine simple eco-sustainable ideas with functional beauty and advanced technology. A unique experience among incredible contemporary bike models conceived by internationally renowned designers such as Ross Lovegrove, Philippe Starck and Richard Sapper. Among the international architectural projects presented in the exhibition, one can find: the Skycycle by Sir Norman Foster, Arganzuela Footbridge by Dominique Perrault Architect, Xiamen Bicycle Skyway by Dissing + Weitling Architecture, Bicycle Snake also by Dissing + Weitling Architecture and Bicycle club by NL Architects among many others.

The exhibition is co-produced by Design Museum Gent and IMF Foundation.
